Domain at Chisholm Creek

I’ve lived at Domain at Chisholm Creek since day one—literally. I was the first resident to move in the moment the fire marshal cleared the building, and from that very first day this property has exceeded every expectation I had. Of course it has been up and down with maintenance as all properties are, but generally things like doors being broken, or gate not working is fixed pretty quickly. The community itself is fantastic: modern, clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed. What truly sets Domain apart from competitors in the area is the front office team. Emma, McKenzie, and Tanya are absolutely outstanding. A special shout-out to Emma, who consistently goes above and beyond. She doesn’t just do her job—she cares, like legitimately cares. The most money hungry and incompetent place I’ve ever dealt with. Ive had a friend charged an extra $1000 when moving out for a “cleaning” fee. A neighbor told me a story of a cabinet falling in their unit and they wanted out of their lease within 4 months. I had the most horrific experience moving out as well. Being charged an extra month to move out. They do random “walk-throughs” (another thing I’ve never dealt with before) and it was the most uncomfortable experience. A total a 4 people, 2 people from the leasing office and 2 maintenance men bang on my door. The maintenance men swinging open doors. Other leasing agent asking why it’s so cold in my own apartment. My brother and I signed a one year lease. Would not recommended. Front desk staff is no help at all. Our sink fell in twice, air went out 3 different times and just gave us a little portable unit that can’t keep up in the summer. Then our portable unit went out. All the walls started cracking as the foundation started moving. Our windows leaked. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. When we finally got out they kept our deposit and then charged us an extra $500. We left that apartment better than when we arrived. We asked multiple times to reduce our rent or something for everything we had to go through and they said nothing we can do.

False sense of hope. I went through the whole application process, paid application and deposit fee, was even given a move in date and apartment number. With this particular complex, you have to have renters insurance. Literally 5 days before my move in date, the system did not "recognize" my account. When I called office, I was told my application was revoked due to my credit. Now I understand them not approving because of credit, but why give me an actual move in date AND apartment number? I mean literally 5 days before my move in date. Most complexes I have applied to ran my credit before giving me a move in date and apartment number. Maybe their policy is different, but don't get your hopes up, even if they give you a move in date/apartment number until you literally have the key in yo

We have lived at the Domain for a little less than a year now, and were probably one of the first few to move in! The floor plans are spacious, the staff is very friendly, and the facilities and amenities are always kept clean. We especially love the dog park! Emma and Ashley have helped us since our first day here, and they are always available to answer our questions. Charles, the maintenance manager, is the best, is quick to resolve any maintenance issues that arise, and is always sure to greet our pup Kota! The location is great, and the neighbors are friendly. The Domain is a great place to live, and I can't recommend it enough.
