Dogwood Trace Apartments

Apt was ok at best, but if you like getting your security deposit back after moving in. You’re out of luck, been waiting on mine for 5 years now and they just kept telling me they “sent the check out” gave them my new address out of state and never got anything. Apt was left in perfect condition as it was when I moved in. At the thime that deposit would have helped me out. Don’t need it at this point, figured others should know how shady they are here

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Decided I would put one up for our experience! My brother was looking for an apartment and he needed it get approved fast. Chad, the manager he was so helpful and nice! He took his time with us and answered all of our questions! The property is exceptional! Very clean and neat! We are very pleased! So if you are looking for a place, you should certainly consider renting here! Thanks

I like it here. The grounds are kept beautiful. The complex is quiet. And, they have a 24 hour Emergency Maintenance number you can call in case of a maintenance emergency. The rent is reasonable. The apartments are well kept. Modern appliances are provided. I love my dishwasher. And I have a Washer/Dryer room which is convenient. I would highly recommend.

Avoid Dawson Development properties. They are typical slum lords trying to take every dollar they can from tenants. Read your lease VERY carefully because they will overcharge you every chance they get. Don't clean when you move out because they will charge you ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for a cleaning fee and ANOTHER ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS to clean the carpets that they clearly don't do because it's not clean when you move in. Shameful practices.

Apts are well maintained , great apt manager, swift to get any problems that may arise addressed immediately, screen applicants, wonderful place to live and perfect location grounds keep immaculate with great amenities I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great and spacious place to live
