We are very happy with our DK Home. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent from the materials used during construction down to the painting, trim, and finishes. We get a lot of compliments on our home. We love the covered concrete porch off of the dining room too. That adds a nice touch!

We are probably the smallest job BK Homes has done with a new dormer/roof design/build but you would never know. Their communication with us and management of with their contractors was excellent as were the individuals we worked with. I've said multiple times they treated us as if we were building a new home. The quality of the work was exception and provided our lake home with outstanding curb appeal. I've seen their work and watched builds nearby and I highly recommend Ben, Jay and company! We bought a unique vacant lot in Grand Haven close to Lake Michigan. After building 2 previous homes, where we struggled with numerous issues, we were very cautious about selecting the builder for this project for what we desired to be our "forever home". From our first phone conversation with DK Homes, Jay and Ben DeKleine, which lead to our proposal meeting, where every budgeted item was addressed in detail, we had full confidence in proceeding with DK Homes for our project. There was precise coordination with the subcontractors, which were mainly part of the DeKleine family, and everyone was on the same page. DK Homes was able to address the main hurdle of the project which involved a one lane road and limited parking for the subcontractors to allow clear access for other homeowner

The BEST experience I have ever had. We were expecting a lot of issues, based on friends who had worked with other builders, but this could not have gone any smoother. Literally, hassle free! Sure there are decisions to be made but from Ben D with his design expertise and Jay D as head of ops, they totally have their act together. Each sub contractor could not have been more cordial and thorough, no finger pointing and they finished AHEAD of schedule!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend DK Homes to anyone who is looking for a new home build with zero hassle and a beautiful end result. Their craftsmanship and coordination is top notch!!!

We met with a few builder before going with DK Homes. In our initial meeting, we described assets we wanted in our home. Ben did a great job designing a home with everything that we wanted. Jay quoted the job with high quality construction, with realistic allowances. He kept us informed about any issues and gave proposed options. Our designer, Mary, was great to work with. Our home is very well built and is beautiful. My husband and I highly recommend DK Homes.
