Discovery Palms

For over a year now the parking has been atrocious! There is NO SYSTEM for keeping out commercial vehicles and unauthorized vehicles impeding adequate parking. Management continues to do NOTHING about improving this issue, even after sending emails in reference to doing something about the problem.

Hallways are always overflowing with bags of trash. Floors are filthy and have not been painted in years. Management cannot be bothered to walk to property to address any issues despite over a year of requesting maintenance via email.

I had a very disappointing experience with the front office staff. I arrived during business hours to inquire about viewing an apartment, and the lady in the office seemed irritated that I was there because it was close to closing time—even though there was still 30 minutes left in the workday. She appeared more focused on getting me out than helping me. When I asked about pricing I had seen online, she said they don’t honor those prices and quoted me over $1,800 for a two-bedroom, with a very condescending tone. Her behavior and demeanor was very rude and unprofessional. I later noticed other reviews mentioning similar behavior from office staff, which makes this even more concerning. This is a beautiful property, they have a great size pool and I love to swim so for me that's very important. My first impression was amazing the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by Will who is apparently the maintenance supervisor for the condos, so he wasn't even one of the members of the leasing or team but he still took the time to greet me and he walked me to the assistant property manager's office, and that's where I met Ameshia. She was extremely nice and welcoming and very knowledgeable about the property and Will even participate in some of the conversation as well. Long story short. There was a lil hiccup when I moved in, and the apartment I got needed some changes and fixing. But after some fair negotiations with management, things got fixed very quickly. HUGE SHOUT OUT the maintenance crew. Franky was super nice and social, and he continued to assure me that I’m in good hands, and he genuinely cares about making people happy. Jose, Sam, Sami, and Daniel were all amazing too, they all worked on my apartment to make sure I can get back to unpacking as fast as possible. Thank you to the maintenance crew, and thank you to the management team for being understanding, and coming up with a fair fix. Very happy with my choice now
