They did an excellent job, they were very diligent, clear and professional throughout the process, I needed to close before the end of the month because my lease expired and they did everything possible to have the loan approved one day and the next have the keys to our new home in hand.

The couldn’t balance the closing disclosure form. It’s a computer program that figures it out for you, how hard can it be? Well, apparently a month and 8 hours of sitting at the title office for closing isn’t enough. I got a “sorry, I know that wasn’t what you expected. It seemed unpleasant”. I sat outside in Florida heat for 2 hours before they “let” me come inside, signed the forms and transferred the closing costs to them. Then sat for another 6 hours. SIX hours of calling people to cancel plans, calling to figure out what was taking so long, and staring out a window of a conference room while family after family finished in an hour or so and took their “Just Closed” pictures. Grueling. Worst customer experience. They also made some crusty Vietnam Veteran sit outside with me too. Hope

I close many deals with DR Horton and we’ve always had great experiences with the buying side.. but the title side is a disaster. The front desk gals sit on their computers shopping and watching YouTube videos while they make the customers stand out in the heat. The packets are never ready and the closing agents aren’t on time. Very disorganized and not respectful of the customers time.

My sister had her closing today and is a widow. I went with her to the closing and they would not let me in the building. I believe that is very disrespectful that they do not allow their buyers to have representation with them. They try to use Covid as the excuse but if she was married they would let her husband with her so what is the difference. I would never recommend this company. Maybe they are trying to hide something in her fees at the last minute.
