Destination Homes

Our experience with Destination Homes was absolutely incredible! We purchased an inventory home from them in Daybreak, and we couldn’t be more impressed. The stunning finishes and exceptional craftsmanship truly exceeded our expectations. What stood out even more was the amazing communication from their entire team. They kept us informed every step of the way and worked diligently to ensure we were able to move into our new home by our deadline. Generally ok here over by the watercourse. Landscaping out front needed to be torn out and replace due to building installing rosa woodii bushes, back yard had to be regradded to avoid debris slides, the sod we laid helped. Hvac is making some weird noises a year in. The two bay garage door is 1.5 inches shorter on the north (right) side, this makes the door look like it's out of alignment. We replaced the plastic dishwasher with a real one. Why only one cheap light in the middle of the master bedroom? Our closet has two. Just weird. We replaced wirh a chandelier which helps. Hey, its home ownership, and $900k doesn't buy much anymore. We bought a spec home. May have had better luck if we built custom with them.

We just bought a Destination Homes Watermark townhome and we are so in love! The finishes are stunning, the craftsmanship is masterful, and you can feel the thoughtfulness put into each detail of the home. Our sales agent was a dream to work with, and their lender incentives are such a help when it comes to closing costs and interest rates! They truly make beautiful homes within all budgets, from starter homes to dream forever homes, so everyone has options that suit their needs. They have a 2 year warranty, too, which I believe is not common for builders to provide!

We like our home and our location but the finish work inside in several places is way below average. Mainly baseboards and door casings. Out of level in several places.3/8-1/2 in gaps between bottom of casing to floors. We built this home in 2006 and I just felt like posting now.the picture represent several of our door casings.

My Destination Home looks nice from the outside and is mostly ok on the inside, however the light fixture over the dining room area is way off center, so that you bump your head when getting up. They won’t fix it due to it not being pointed out before we closed. (We bought from another state and were not able to do the walk through in person). Interesting that they did move the light in their model home due to negative feedback. There is a definite lack of attention to details in finishes, such as a scratched up stovetop and sinks and lots of penny pinching when it comes to warranty repairs. We will see if they actually fix the light location… I will definitely post updates. Update: they moved the light fixture to the proper location and repaired the ceiling- looks great! 👍🏻. Would
