Desert Club Apartments

I have had the pleasure of living at Desert Club in Phoenix for 9 1/2 years. It’s a pretty development with well kept landscaping. The apartments are updated with beautiful design and layouts. The maintenance staff quickly comes to respond to repair requests. A shoutout to Juan: He is always pleasant with a kind manner. He explains the issues and solutions well, so the resident has a good understanding. He always shows professionalism and is passionate about his job! Juan is an important member of the Desert Club Community! A Shoutout as well to the leasing office staff! They are pleasant and are helpful with any questions you may have and truly are interested in having Desert Club be your home with comfort and happiness.

I moved in about 7-8 months ago. Place is not bad. I’m writing review to let people know how their workers do their job. I had a leak in my apartment and mold starts to grow 24 to 48 hours. So leak started 4-5 days ago. I told them I don’t want them to cut any drywall if they not professional and I didn’t want to get exposed to mold. They didn’t listen they didn’t call professional company They came in today start cutting drywall exposing mold all over my place with out plastic containment no air scrubber. I’ve been doing mold remediation work for 6 years so I know how to do mold remediation and I’m also certified so for me watching how they doing is rough and I’m unhappy with their work they don’t care about people who lives in their apartments. I even give them business card I told them

Do NOT move in here. The people who run this office are the absolute worst. Incredibly rude. While visiting a friend who loves here I have had 2 awful encounters with the office ladies. Personally AND to another tenant. Unwarranted mind you. During the conversation one of the woman even stated to a tenant "Youre making my job harder" Also, the parking is awful. Everyone who lives here owns more than 1 vehicle and takes up all available parking PLUS their assigned parking.

Leasing office was very helpful answering all my questions and showing me multiple options. Property is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately they didn’t have a place I wanted available in my timeframe which shows the property is in high dement and it makes sense why.

Management and office staff do not respond to resident concerns. It has increasingly gotten worse since the new ownership. As a tenant for almost five years I am feeling rather frustrated. The maintenance staff and apartments themselves are great.
