Rude, unprofessional. 1. Gave us the wrong key to our property. We were moving in, had a truck full of stuff. They refused to come to us. So my husband had to leave me with all of our stuff for over an hour. 2. The owner decided to sell the property. We asked that we could put it a bid. Said they'd get back to us. They never did. Then put a lock box on our house. We worked at night. We asked that anyone coming to see our house. Come after noon. We were woken up at 7am to strangers walking through our house, on many occasions. Some had even destroyed things in my dark room "by accident". Until my husband got the code to the lock box and took the keys out. 3. **DO NOT RENT** In 2017, I was eager to rent a condo and hastily chose this property without thoroughly researching the renting agent. This turned out to be a huge mistake. My experience was horrible. As echoed by many other reviews, the agents were incredibly rude and completely unaccommodating. They unfairly withheld my entire deposit and even charged for normal wear and tear, something I haven't encountered anywhere else. Being new to the country at the time, I was unaware of my rights and didn’t take much action; I just wanted to move on and forget the experience. However, after living in multiple places since then, I now realize how poorly I was treated. Avoid this agent at all costs.

Demco managed my property for one year starting in 2017 and the initial meeting with the owner was nice and she seemed like they could take care of my needs in finding a good tenant and handling my management. Demco provided okay service throughout that year. The things that needs improvement are the communication. The staff can come off a little terse when handling difficult situations. It also can take them about 24 hours to respond to emails because they do not respond in most cases until after the office closes, and sometimes the email is not clear. It is sometimes hard to get someone on the phone because they screen calls, which forces you to email. I think the best compliment I could give is as a Tenant I often thought I was their only tenant. They were very responsive to my concerns and issues. One thing that has to be remembered is they work on behalf of the owner, so if the owner is great and responsive they can be as well. On a major issue I had while renting while there were some challenging discussions I did feel as if Demco advocated fairly for the owner and tenant. I'm leaving the property now as I have purchased a home. I would certainly use their services in the future as a property management company.

BEWARE OF THIS SHADY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH DEMCO PROPERTIES. I had such an incredibly horrible experience dealing with them. I was planning to move to MD the middle of September 2018. I found an apartment that I loved and on August 5th I sent in my application to Demco, along with my first months rent of $1850 (I LOVED the apt and surely I’m dealing with an ethical and organized company, so I didn’t hesitate to comply with their requests). At this point I had 6ish weeks until I moved, which I assumed was plenty of time. My application was eventually (finally) approved on August 20th, so I figured I’d get a copy of the lease within the next few days or so. I sent 2 emails (8/21/18 and 8/23/18) requesting the lease.
