Definitely 0 stars. Listen to the 1 star reviews you see because it is completely accurate. The management changes every year and it's never someone that knows what they are doing or has the authority to do anything. Maria or Mary or something, werent in the office during posted business hours, takes more than 48hrs to hear back and they will not handle issues until they are make the time to handle it. I had felt so neglected and pushed aside when I stayed here (paying over 2.5k). Hallways are nasty smelling like garbage with flies and gnats all around. Being near BART/AC Transit is one of the main positives along with the maintenance crew, they may take a decent amount of time to get to the problem but at least they handle it unlike the actual office staff.

Not an ideal place to live if you care about staff attentiveness, respect and timeliness. Finally got out and it was about time. Staff very unresponsive (but they will respond to reviews🤔). When I left another new lady again M. just can’t do what they say in a timely fashion. It wasn’t worth the hassle of calling when there was a problem because no one answered the phone during business hours, they don’t respond to emails until 48hrs after the fact, and you can’t call maintenance emergency line unless it’s related to a maintenance emergency obviously. Live here at own risk

We lived in this apartments for 5 years and in the last 2 months we found 6 rats 🐀 inside the apartment, and other people told me that they had the same problem. The manager received several emails from us about this bad issue but takes a lot of time to answer and only sends pest control and they only put traps in all the apartment and leave. Outside of the apartment in a garden area we saw several times big rats 🐀, the pest control put traps and apparently nothing happened because we still seen the rats in different places. We started to look for another place to go asap because the problem continued and we sent emails to the manager to tell her that we were looking for another place and immediately we found it we will leave the apartment, and they didn’t answer. I’m only reviewing because my uncle use to live here years ago. I thought the place was pretty nice. Now I’m not sure what happened 😕 but I’m so happy I read the reviews. You guys saved me from going from a decent property management to horrific one with inhabitable living.

0 stars and that's just for the management. Even now my old roommate is still living there and it's worse than when I left. Now they got Maria and Monica (both can't communicate) and an overall person Jennifer that has supposedly been here for 3 years (yet I have never heard of this lady) and stuff still doesn't get handled. If you want anything done or even to be listened to about resident concerns don't come here. They automatically are hostile or will just hide away to avoid the situation until they find it relevant. Majority of residents are POC so you'd think diversity training would be required (hint hint)
