Deerwood Village Apartments

I almost never leave reviews, but I felt like I had to after this experience. I loved the layout of these apartments and honestly had my heart set on moving into this community. Everything looked great, and I was excited up until I called the leasing office. I only asked two questions since I had already found most of the information online. The leasing agent I spoke with was very rude for no reason at all from start to finish. Even after I stayed polite and thanked her for her time she hung up on me. That short conversation completely changed my mind. If this is how they treat people who are simply asking about an apartment, I can’t imagine how residents are treated once they move in and are locked into a lease. Wishing the best to anyone who has to deal with this office.

Louis is the best maintenance person! Best person to get the job done! Also, Chyna is the only one I’ll work with at the front office. She’s nice and knows her stuff. The apartment themselves, they’re great but the washer and dryers are old ancient and super busted. Really takes away from the “new and modern living space” when they break all the time. And that’s from like five other residents also. They have food trucks and do little things for the residents here and there.

This place is absolutely disgusting! ROACH INFESTED! No matter how much pest control and cleaning you do they are everywhere! We hired carpet cleaners since we have babies with skin conditions and they told us there was urine in Every Room! (But they told us the carpets were cleaned?) Even though we already knew there was dogs in the unit previously since floor boards were chewed up and even the light switch in the bathroom was chewed, and they don’t even replace anything they just spray paint everything white even the appliances. Since we regularly clean, the paint would come off and you would see how dirty and rusted the appliances were. Front office says to let Maintenance know if we need any fixes yet when maintenance came he told us, “Don’t put in multiple work orders just put one and

I can't say enough amazing things about Deerwood! I moved to these beautiful apartments in 2018 and have not left! The apartments are beautiful. They have an amazing pool, paths to walk around on and explore, and even a dog park. The employees here have exceeded my expectations by far. From the day I toured to today, they have shown me love, care and concern, whether I was struggling during tough times or doing great! They have always gone above and beyond for me. My family lives out of state, so having that love is a big deal to me. When I say they will go above and beyond I really mean it...I even locked myself out of my apartment the morning of Christmas Eve, and one of Deerwood's maintenance employees drove out at 6:30 AM to open it for me. Luis is the real MVP 🤜🏼👊. Always reliable, always on time, and always gets the job done. From fixing the kitchen faucets to changing the AC filter and cleaning the coil, and just in general keeping our space running smoothly, he's the unsung hero we don't deserve 😅. Thanks for all your hard work! 🙌
