UPDATE!: I MOVED OUT 45 DAYS AGO AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY DEDUCTION/DAMAGES LIST OR ANY WORD OF WHEN MY DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED. BY LAW, THEY ARE TO SEND A DEDUCTION LIST WITHIN 30 DAYS AND REFUND BY DAY 45. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE OFFICE, MACEO THOMAS AND AMIRA. NONE OF WHICH HAVE REPLIED REGARDING RETURNING MY DEPOSIT. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. THE OFFICE IS A FRAUD AND THERE IS NO PHYSICAL OFFICE TO REPORT THEM TO THE OFFICE OF THE TENATE ADVOCATE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT AND GHOST YOU. I would not recommend that you rent a property managed by DC Urban LIving. I have lived in the dc area for 8 years and have moved often. I’ve worked with 6 different property managers and DC Urban Living was the worst. They are slow to fix issues, sometimes urgent issues like ac. They don’t respond to emails, my property manager was Maceo and his normal response time was 4-5 days. I tried to elevate my frustrations but was told that Maceo doesn’t work for DC urban living, which he does. He is on their about me website. Keisha clark was the employee that lied to me about Maceo not working there. All in all, I would recommend you look elsewhere instead of renting with them. It’ll be a headache you don’t want to deal with.

DC Urban Living provided me with top notch service and advice. Nickia Jackson took the time to search for properties in my price range and desired features to ensure we always had a nice list of homes to view. Keisha went out of her way with recommending inspectors, contractors and the like to help me secure the home I wanted. Although my budget was low they made me feel like I was searching for a million dollar home!

DC Urban Living is phenomenal and takes care of any and all real estate needs. From residential to commercial, Keisha and her team are THE subject matter experts across DC and Maryland. I’m grateful for the patience, aggressive negotiation, deep knowledge and counsel for these complex transactions.

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with DC Urban Living (DCUL). I was a first-time tenant and seller with very little knowledge about how to find the right realtor. I met with a couple of realtors before DCUL, but I knew instantly that DCLU was the one for me. They are honest and hands-on (they even made rehab recommendations to improve the marketing of my home.), and they really helped to take the pressure off of me. Highly recommended!!
