I would give zero stars if I could. My partner and I moved out at the end of April and provided our new address to one of the office staff. We received our disposition statement past the 14 business days and the leasing manager for that apartment reached out on June 4, our lease was up on April 30, to correct the address. The disposition stated that we owed $618, after our deposit $600 was taken, to replace the carpets for both bedrooms. When we contacted the leasing office, they said that there were urine stains in the carpet. We know for a fact this is false because, while there was one stain in the hallway from a period where my disability kept me from leaving the house and my partner was out of state for military service, the bedrooms were kept closed and neither animal was allowed in

Miserable, dishonest, and rude liars who cheat good tenants out of their security deposits. Update: The owner responded, and notice how careful they are by trying to avoid saying the room was returned in great condition and there were no damages above normal wear and tear. They said nonsense like I left it "a certain way." What does that even mean? The "certain way" I left it was excellent. I wasn't overcharged for cleanliness or repairs, I was overcharged for PAINT - so even now DayStar is being dishonest, misleading, and sleazy. DayStar knows exactly how to exploit the landlord-tenant system in AZ. I'll attach the proof and the readers can decide. I've lived at a set of their apartments for two years. Their management of one of the properties has a bad attitude. They are now trying to hear more towards senior living but want families to live there I'm assuming because seniors can't afford the pricing of their apartments. When my lease is up I will be moving to a different property. You shouldn't have to live in a place where the manager has a constant attitude for everything then accuses people of things that they didn't do. I don't recommend any of the properties especially in north phoenix. Unsatisfied renter.

How can Darci, The Property Manager, supposedly not know anything about a bed bug infestation? And then lie and say the exterminator comes on the 4th of every month acting like last week was the fourth from today ????? She’s hiding things and not wanting to say anything!

They do an amazing job, I've lived at one of their properties for a couple years and it has been the best overall maintained property out of all the places I have lived at
