David Serota was both the owner and real estate agent whom we purchased our home from 6 months ago. During the process of buying the house, our inspector noticed issues with the roof. Baron Construction did the "necessary repairs" required in order to certify the roof's condition for our purchase. Not only did the shingles come off within the first few months, within 6 months we've been told by multiple roofing companies that the roof needs a full replacement, and has 3 layers on it! (Only 2 layers are allowed by law!) Since then, we've found countless issues with the home, including flooding in the basement, potentially dangerous electric wiring updates and more. David was the Real Estate Broker I used to buy my first house several years back. When I was ready to put it on the market when I moved in with my husband, I knew David would make selling my house as easy and painless as it possibly could be. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. When I first met David Serota via internet for my relocation I was delighted. He seemed like a very decent person and Knowledgeable. He seemed on top of things and when my own mortgage person seemed disengaged the picked up the slack. Even after I closed and started to make discoveries he ( David Serota) stated he would stand with me in my choice of action. However, I made some very significant findings in his failure to perform as my agent and of course he became a ghost. He was my eyes on the ground in my relocation and I used his team. I 100% regret the trust I put in him for my small home purchase.
