Daniel J Flood Tower

Numerous problems with the building. Tenants having multiple problems and issues including no water, no washers or dryers. Issues with theft by other tenants. Renters receive no help or answers regarding their complaints. Many elderly residents live there and need answers from the management and owners about ongoing problems and issues. For example, flooding in building. I personally can attest to the uncleanliness in the halls, elevators etc. High rent for substandard apartments. My elderly mother is a longtime renter and is very concerned and upset over problems in this building. Many residents like her have no other place to go. So, many lack the resources and funds to move. I do not recommend anyone moving here.

I like living here, the manager and her assistant are great. A few too many inspections if you ask me but it's ok. Like any high-rise with this many tenants you're bound to have issues.

It's low income housing, assisted living (I heard) for the disabled (mental and physical) & elderly. Subsidized by HUD. I just moved in. It took 6 weeks to get through the process. Berdine was great. Most of the other residents that I've spoken with have been friendly and helpful. If they haven't been, I just go on about my business. Most of the negativity associated with subsidized housing is evident... that's life. The rude, crude and unacceptable pops up any and everywhere. In today's societal and political insanity businesses are understaffed and requirements unable to be met. Sometimes you just have to accept things. But I will tell you this much Some of the residents that I know very well Moved from park Ave towers wilkes-barre pa DANIEL J flood Towers is a lot cleaner than park avenue towers wilkesbarre Will ever be At least the staff at daniel j flood Towers at least the staff They do their job Not like park Ave towers I actually have a friend that lives in those towers. One of my family members lives here, so I visit every so often.. it has really gone down hill over the years. The majority of the residents are extremely rude, now, with the exception of a few very nice residents and friendly people. The female and male manager who is currently here has been very nice; however, many of the people here have absolutely no knowledge or care about the mental and physical health care of the residents. Several people here have informed me that they have had complete nervous breakdowns because of the stress and way too much inside and outside noise-- nervous breakdowns to the point of losing touch with reality and not being able to literally speak;; Several people have to call the crisis hotline DAILY.. in order to stay sane here. That's totally not right and
