We selected Fleetwood to build our Door County dream home in 2018, and made the perfect choice. Doug and Kim never told us what we should or shouldn't do, but frequently offered wise suggestions about a feature they had done previously that might be a better fit for our plan. They were diligent about thoroughly explaining reasons for any changes. We lived in southern Wisconsin during the build and visited as often as our schedule allowed, but during long absences they kept in contact regularly by email and text. In 2008, David and I stopped at a home that Doug was in the process of finishing in Door County. We loved the design and workmanship so much, we hoped he could build our dream home in Door County someday. In 2016, we bought a unique lot in Egg Harbor. Our realtor gave us a builder. We talked to them, but we knew we had to have Fleetwood Homes build our home. Doug doesn’t just design, he is a big part of the construction which made a huge difference for us. It was a pleasure working with Fleetwood Custom Homes! Doug, the owner, heard our wish list of the items we wanted in our rather significant home remodel project. He drew up good plans, provided a detailed estimate, obtained the proper permits and final inspections, and completed the work in a timely fashion. Most importantly, all the work was completed within his original price estimate.
