We've been telling everyone we know about Custom Home Group (CHG). We're absolutely thrilled with our new home. We broke ground the first week of September 2021. We were told it would take 4 to 5 months to complete the house. Despite insane supply chain delays, CHG made it happen! We moved in during the first week of February - almost exactly 5 months after we broke ground. Admittedly, there are a lot of moving parts when it comes to building a home. While everything didn't go PERFECTLY, it we as close to it as possible. Any hiccups we hit along the way, CHG did right by us every single time. We made our decision based off the quality we saw in the homes they built, as well as their patience and professionalism. Fortunately, we made the right choice! From the initial planning all the way through construction and post-move in followups, CHG have provided a great experience. They do a great job at documenting everything to ensure the builder and customer are on the same page, and their designers provided us some great ideas and inspiration any time we were feeling indecisive about design decisions. We started the build process with CHG in California, over 3,000 miles away from our build lot. We were impressed with their no pressure sale approach when compared to the other builders we interviewed. When we moved to the East coast the build process was in motion. The professionalism of the CHG staff and their interaction with the build trades were top notch. They provided weekly build status reports and answered and/or fixed all of our questions and concerns throughout the process. The actual build took about 6 months which was exactly what they communicated to us. The result was a beautiful home that we love. I would recommend CHG to anyone who is considering building a new home. If we ever build again, CHG would be our builder.
