Crossings at Center Street

I've been living at Crossings since October. I like the location and the manager is very easy to deal. She responds promptly to messages and phone promptly. I think the rent is high and I suspect its going to increase once my year lease expires. But the place is gated and I appreciate that, still if the rent goes up ill have to look elsewhere. The unit I'm in has several issues. The mini split heat/AC combo was installed very close to the exterior and above a window. Due to that the unit doesn't turn on or off based on room temperature but rather whatever draft is coming through the window. There are other construction issues as well. The bath tub has sealant issues in a couple places and the towel rack wasn't secured to the wall correctly but the maintenance man fixed that without is

I had a very aggressive and loud neighbor that I had to call the police on. It sounded like he was killing someone in his apartment and the situation was not handled well by management. No security measures taken and basically depended on surrounding tenants to take videos and call the police. When I did take videos, I had no way of sending them to the manager. Tried to stop by the office several times to show them the videos and no one was ever there. Also, they didn't bill us for water for the first 9 months I was living here, then suddenly had a stack of water bills attached to my rent. I lived here for a year right after they first started leasing (Sep 2023 - Sep 2024). It was nice being in a brand new apartment, and it was affordable at the time, at $1,250/month as a move-in special. I had a couple of issues with the windows and the AC unit, but the maintenance team was quick, kind, and helpful. We had three or four different managers during our time here. Communication was really poor and inconsistent. Complaints were handled poorly, both regarding noise and our neighbors smoking weed. Upon moving out, I backed my truck up for 10 minutes to load items and came back to find one of the neighbor’s beautiful artwork on the side of it. I absolutely love living here! The amenities are top-notch and really elevate my experience. The neutral colors throughout the apartment provide the perfect backdrop for me to decorate and add my personal aesthetic. The layout is spacious with plenty of storage, which is a huge plus. The view from my windows is stunning, and it's so refreshing to enjoy the natural light and scenery. Another great feature is the abundance of parking spaces—I've never had trouble finding a spot. Overall, this place feels like home, and I couldn't be happier!

So far living here has been a mostly pleasant experience! I love the security of living in a fully gated community, and love the privacy our balcony offers. It's the perfect place to sit and relax with a book. Having moved from a place with no air conditioning, it was such a relief to move here and have that, and I absolutely cannot wait to try the fireplace when things get chilly!
