Creekside at Palmer Park Apartments

I’ve been here about a month so far and the office staff and maintenance crew are amazing! I’ve been to the office numerous times to ask some questions since I am new to the area, and they have been great! I had one small maintenance request and the maintenance team was great! I’ve talked to a couple of them on the side to say that I appreciate what they’ve done with the big snow we got and even the small snow we got. I do not envy what the maintenance team goes through during storms, but they’ve handled it amazingly. Wish I had the maintenance team members names but the office staff, Tera, Enrique, Cen, and Dina are amazing! Highly recommend this complex. Wish my area got some more sun to melt the ice faster, but I chose this apartment so that’s my choice! By the way… the Topaz floor plan

Everything about living here is good for the most part. I like that management leaves us alone but their communication is extremely poor. They fail to let us know about things around the complex like contractors coming to work on the parking lot/ sidewalks and it’s been on multiple occasions. I also don’t appreciate the back and forth answers. My fiancé called a couple of months ago about having maintenance put in a new thermostat that we bought and Enrique told them they could do it and when my fiancé called back again to see when they’re were coming Enrique told them that they couldn’t anymore all of the sudden. I also called about hosting my baby shower at the clubhouse for the weekend of the 14th or 15th of February and Enrique originally told me that was okay. I called back later on

I’m really disappointed with how my experience at this apartment complex turned out this time around. I lived here before from 2018–2020 and had a great experience back then. The management team at that time was understanding, helpful, and respectful especially toward military residents. That’s the main reason I decided to move back when I returned to the area. Unfortunately, this new management team is completely different. When I received my PCS orders, I informed them right away that I would be leaving and not staying in the apartment after November 4. I also explained that my orders came in late, which is something completely out of my control as a service member. We have lived here for 3 months and absolutely love it. The office staff and maintenance team are extremely professional. Maintenance requests have all been completed within 1 business day.

Update: Been living here about 2 years and the overall quality has gone down severely. To start the amount of careless dog waste throughout the complex kinda ruins the outside. You have to tolerate loud neighbors despite the thin walls. I can't really enjoy staying here in my off time. Security is also lacking. If you're a government worker they're not really flexible during a shutdown, too. I kinda expected better from this place, especially with the price. I'm not the only tenant with these views. The main benefit is the location and proximity, but you can probably find some place cheaper and maybe better close by. You pay luxury price for mediocre living. I know the grass isn't always greener but this grass is brown if you catch my drift.
