Cove West Hartford

I looked at several buildings in West Hartford before deciding on the cove. The cove has the A+ location as far as highway access and next to the park with pool. My kitchen is pretty nice and the rent was a lot less then some of other buildings closer to town center. Very happy with my decision, I can use the savings to spend at the town center!

I thought moving here would be a great idea but not even a month later the tires and rims were stolen off my deceased sons truck that was given to me and I filed a police report; no one from the property made any contact with me concerning this happening in the middle of a well lit parking lot..the property then said my vehicle was abandoned and had it removed from the property without notifying me or allowing me to have it moved on my own. I’ve been met with rude and disrespectful emails/communication or ignored. My place started slowly falling apart after I moved in. The maintenance is not 24hrs as listed in my lease and the people who own their units(HOA) I feel discriminates against tenants who rent. We are not allowed to use community areas and have the rules of the HOA as well as rul

The only positives for this place are that it allows pets (for a fee) and it is conveniently located. Other than that, this place is one of the worst places that I've ever lived until now. The complex feels overcrowded and uninspired. There is no sense of community. It feels like a place people pass through, not somewhere anyone would want to call home. The parking is a mess (no reserved spots) and there is trash everywhere. Despite the steep rent, nothing is ever fixed or updated. This is a slumlord situation.

Mice, mice mice mice !!!!!!!! And roaches They’re in the walls !!! Even if you’re clean , they come in desperate for food! … BUT the price is worth it in 2023 - PLEASE get an exterminator and pest control before moving in and once you move in - I, have decided to move out, because they will not resolve the issue, instead, they say that they’ve already sent an exterminator out. However, if you unfortunately need to rent this, please make sure you hire a professional exterminator to treat your apartment before you move in there. I would not move into this apartment without treating it. There is an infestation of mice within the walls.I am a single female that is never home and the mice still ATE through the walls

Cove apartments has a bad rep for a few reasons. There are condos owned by other associations within the complex that are not newly refurbished and they do not have access to the brand new club house. The parking lot is noisy at times in the morning/night and garbage maintenance can be an issue sometimes with squirrels and mice getting into it - although the mice seem to have disappeared recently! Like any first, second, or third apartment, there are some bugs. No shocker there but you squish them and move on with your life while saving hundreds of dollars compared to other apartments in the area.
