I lived in a two bedroom two bathroom townhome at the Cove from June 2021-June 2022. I honestly don’t have many great things to say about this place but will give a quick overall summary of our experience living here. When we moved in, our AC was not working in our home. They moved in portable units and did a horrible job installing them (see pics below). They mentioned that the unit has “sound proof” windows when we were touring the units and that could not be further from the truth (someone was living in our unit so we could not view our exact unit). The highway noise is pretty constant but does eventually turn into almost a “white noise” while sleeping (except when a truck hits the warning strip which makes a pretty loud noise). When they were spreading sand for the winter they pu
The community was pleasant and the apartment condition was decent. Main reason for low rating was that there were poor communication for major items. I would be sure to read the fine prints of lease and emails sent if you decide to live here, or be prepare to face large fees. I had to pay a late fee when they transition portal website. There was email notify of portal website switch but I never realized that meant my autopay had automatically terminated- and got a late fee. I was hoping to move out of apartment by lease end date at march 1, but I notified them middle of Jan, but you have to give 60 days notice or else you automatically go month to month - so I ended up paying an additional month.
After selling our house (while looking for another) We’ve lived at the The Cove for 1 1/2 years. Overall it has been a good experience. The current management is caring and proactive. We recently had an issue with our washing machine. Jesus from maintenance staff identified the problem and replaced the part promptly and efficiently the next day. He is polite and professional. We are lucky that he’s part of the maintenance team.
I have had a very positive experience at The Cove, especially with the maintenance department. I had a few minor maintenance issues and each one was addressed within hours of my putting in a request through the very user-friendly resident portal. Brett took care of the most recent issues with my vertical blinds. Not only did he do the job effectively, but he was professional as well as very pleasant each time he was in my apartment and always encouraged me to contact the office if this issue needed to be addressed further.
Im moving in next month, I will likely update this review in the future to include that. However, I saw a few reviews about the leasing office that dont speak to my experience so thought I might contribute. The leasing office was very responsive from start to finish and I had no difficulty scheduling a tour of the units and no difficulty with any assistance I needed in applying for and sending in a deposit for a unit. Professional and friendly, no complaints at this point! Update 2/23: Left in December after about a year and a half there. I was told when I moved in I could do a 6 month lease after a year but the new leasing company after the sale then refused this after the year passed,so I was paying a decent hike in price monthly until we moved. Before I moved out, and likely due to
