Council Groves Apartments

When my husband became ill and died of cancer several years ago, I became a widow with 2 small children to support on my own. Council Groves provided me a safe and welcoming environment to raise children and allowed me to attend the University of Montana without worrying if I could earn enough to pay the full cost of rent in Missoula. After graduation, I left to attend the University of Hawaii for my masters and then later returned to Missoula for a more affordable housing situation. My fist thought was Council Groves as it always felt like home and a safe haven to raise children as the apartments offer many activities for kids including afterschool and summer programs. The apartment also has a nice community room and a computer room. The community and family spirit is stil alive at this

I live here and I love it here!! Kathy is an amazing person, she is always on top of things. She always helps people out, she understands kids, and she makes sure everyone is doing ok. All she expects is for you to succeed, pay rent on time, and follow all the rules. Sarah is very understanding of any situation and expects the same as Kathy. All the staff here are pretty great actually, always helping people even if they are in the middle of doing something. They either help you right away or they make it a point to come by that day when they are not super busy. The park here is awesome for kids to play on. It's pretty easy to do what you need to keep your place here. The rules are not hard. I am extremely grateful they helped me to where I was going to possibly be a homeless single mom on

I live next door and Kathy is amazing! She is on top of everyone’s needs and is very involved in the community. This amazing woman goes above and beyond. She even brings Santa by at Christmas for our little ones. If you have children and need an affordable place to live I would highly recommend this place.

Thanks to the incredible landlord and staff at Council Groves I was able to finish my schooling as a single parent and I had an opportunity to get on my feet with starting a new business. I've been able to use those stepping stones to better my life and get the stability that my son and I needed. I wouldn't have been able to achieve my success without these amazing people. I will cherish our memories at these apartments forever.

I lived here for 8 and a half years and I loved it. The landlord expects you to follow the rules but she is very responsive to your needs and involved in the CG community.
