an obvious money grab for these developers… Why build a beautiful home where the next-door neighbors can look down into your backyard… These lots are all crammed together… Price is gonna have to be discounted quite a bit to sell these homes with little or no privacy…

They are supposedly family friendly but do not allow young children on the tours. I have a 10 month old that is not walking yet and would be carrying him. We didn't think it would be a problem at all so we showed up for our appointment and we were told that one of us would have to stay back with the baby in the sales office because they don't have a way to bring him out to the models. We offered to drive our own car with a car seat and they said no. Such a bummer. =\

My wife and I toured your facility on May 1. First of all and most importantly you need to get vans that can accommodate people with physical limitations. When we were picked up at the main building for tour my wife fell into the van as it did not have a step to assist entry. She hurt her knee and back and had pain next day walking with it improving as days pass. On the pick up the van had the extra step that helped but again great to board. Another woman had extremely difficulty getting in and departing the van. She had limitations from a stroke. Enjoyed the tour but would have been more enjoyable with proper transportation.

Oh my goodness - what a travesty of the name Disney! My husband and I visited the Cotino Community with our 2 small dogs (who were in a stroller). We were immediately greeted with, “We don’t allow pets on our properties.” We asked why, as we had viewed other properties with our dogs. The “cast member” claimed that it’s due to potential allergies of other clients and that it was the rule of Shea Homes. Seriously?! We viewed other Shea properties with our dogs in their stroller without a problem. My husband and I were quite upset, as we had driven all the way from Ventura County. That same cast member (apparently an entitled millennial) said, “I won’t have you talk to me that way.” It was comical; she crossed her arms and actually stuck her nose in the air! I said, “Look. This was perhaps one of the biggest disappointments while down visiting the desert. As we are loving spending more time down here and am interested in looking for a place to invest in, we were excited to book an appointment at Cotino on a Sunday morning to view and explore the property and its amenities. To our surprise we were met with a stern policy against bringing our small 10 lb Maltese onto the property. Seriously?? You want to sell property to people who for a good majority are dog owners and you won’t allow us in the view the sites because of your policy against dogs on the property for viewing?? You have just hung yourself from attracting buyers with dogs. As a Disney affiliate it’s definitely not conveying the friendliest place on earth. And what would Pluto think of this
