10/17/23 UPDATE: builder decided to fix the siding the cheapest way possible. Again hiring a cheap contractor to scew nails on loose planks and replace missing siding with a piece of wood and paint it with a color that doesn't even match. Look at what a good job he hired. Picture attached. Think twice before hiring Costello Builders. This is going to be an honest and truthful review. Be aware of this builder. He didnt return any of my phone calls until I sent certified letter mentioning a lawsuit. Many residents have same complaint. Hardie Siding falling apart. He simply doesn't care about the issue in question because as he stated to me " its not my problem". This is the same reason he gave my neighbor who complained about her siding. We bought a beautiful spec home from Costello builders. During the time we've owned it, we have found the house to be quality ... but the builder's response to issues is very poor. The most telling is the fact that they used defective siding to build the house (unknown at the time). However, soon after the home was sold to us, there was a lawsuit concerning the fact that the siding cracks... and they chose NOT to notify us. Rather, when I saw the siding cracking in multiple places, and reached out, I was forwarded the lawsuit forms to file a claim. I asked if they had someone who could do the work ... was given a name, and I have communicated for a year trying to get the work to be done with no luck. I have many friends and family that own Costello homes and not one negative thing to say. I've owned a Costello home for over six years now and have NO issues at all. I would love to show my beautiful home to anyone with a doubt about this builder.

Hands down best builder in Lancaster County. I have a stunning home built by Tom and Dave. The quality and craftsmanship are far superior to any other builder around. Check them out if your looking for a home to last a lifetime. A++++

I own a home built by Costello Builders and have been very happy with it. I haven't experienced any issues at all. Would recommend them to friends and family (and have).
