Love the cortland team! Our recent activites for residents, crafting, painting, really bringing people together. Supporting local businesses, we have fun, and go home with something we've made- perfect! The team is always friendly, welcoming, knows our names- feels like a home. Far from faceless corporate apartments.

Update 10/22: Can in no way recommend this place to live. It appears management is clearing the building slowly by not renewing leases. People are leaving. I REALLY don’t feel safe now, even after they got rid of the homeless guy living in a storage room across the hall. Workers and foul building materials in the halls are replacing them. Cortland Properties took over the building. A “street person” was found living in a storage room across the hall from me this week. Guess we practice diversity! They are worse than the prior management team. The acquisition and rollout reminded me very much of a tail wagging the dog. Give these folks and the place a miss for a year. They truly need it. Reply from Cortland management suggests a rosy future, but I still say give renting here a miss

After a lot of live changes I found myself in a new state at a new job and got so lucky to find a great place to live. My apt is stylish and the amenities are wonderful. The staff is always ready to help or suggest things in the area not to miss. Being new, I especially enjoy the events the staff put on for residents. Puppy parties, Halloween parties, cookouts and more have made it easy to meet my neighbors and meet new friends. Being next to the main strip of fabulous shops and restaurants in Decatur makes going out a simple walk away. Oh, and for life stuff, my doctor is in the building in the same parking lot, CVS and the vet are just across the street, and my dentist and bank are one block away. If you've driven in Atlanta traffic you know what a big deal this is.

It's amazing how 24 inch TV and Amazon dot raffle will incentivize people to alter their opinion (see picture, thus the recent surge of reviews in January 2020). I had left a past review regarding my mixed emotions of PoP after living there for 1 year. Here's my 1.5 year update: -Security: Improving. I actually see a guard actively patrolling the building in the evening, and I am cautiously pleased. However, unwarranted roof visitors in the evening and weekends still remain an issue that has fallen to deaf ears. Let's see what will happen. See picture- drugs and dime bags are a frequent attraction, and you will encounter the lovely scent of marijuana here and there, and then some. I suppose that's the Atlanta flare, and PoP is not an exception. -Amenities and Parking: Unchanged. You will

Moved in about a month ago and could not be more happy with our experience so far. We had a lot of anomalies at move in from our air conditioning being broken day 1 to parking card not working and most recently our garbage disposal stopped working. First off, they worked tirelessly for 2 days to get our ac unit back up and running while providing us a portable ac unit while we waited for it to be fixed. Card was fixed in no time and disposal was fixed literally within an hour of the ticket being submitted. Peyton, our leasing agent was great with move in and maintenance staff is very friendly and always seem happy to help!
