Customer Reviews
We lived here for 4 years while I went to Emory, and I will say, we didn't realize how great this place was during our stay until we moved back home. The units themselves have great layouts and great appliances. Very spacious for a 1 bedroom 1 bath. As we were on a hunt for a new complex when we moved back home, we noticed that we kept looking for a place that was similar to oleander and it has been hard to come by. The jack and Jill concept from the bedroom into the bathroom was perfect for when guest spent the night. The walk in closet is very spacious. I also used the gym frequently, it was always clean and not super busy. The pool was great to host friends. The parking was very easy, no one has assigned spots so it's first come first serve. Maintenance were always very quick with reque
I'm satisfied with everything except for the experience of transferring from one unit to another. The apartment management team, in-person and email/phone/online communications, were TOTALLY two different groups, and many things were messed up. I've transferred and lived in my new unit for one month, but I still have access to the residential portal information from the old unit. The Luxer One package service NEVER straightened out, keeps on receiving emails asking me to update billing information, otherwise I will not receive a code to get the package in the locker, while I kept everything updated, and The Luxer One said they had all my information, and I do not know why the property manager keeps asking for an update. The rent payment system NEVER straightened out, paid my last month's r
When I toured they rccomemded the West building where I dealt with an ongoing pest infestation at this property beginning in August 2025 that was never fully resolved despite multiple professional treatments. Bugs were present throughout the apartment, including under the bathroom sink and in kitchen areas. Because of this, I avoided using my bathroom sink and stove due to sanitation concerns near water and food preparation spaces. Pest control continued into December 2025, yet live insects were still present afterward. Management offered additional treatments and reimbursement for pest products but declined any rent adjustment despite the issue lasting for months and continuing through move-out. Based on my experience, the infestation was not effectively resolved and significantly impa
I accompanied my sister on a tour here at Cortland and the leasing agent, Jeremy/James (cant remember his name) couldnt care less about being professional or getting an apartment leased. Whatever was happening on his phone was much more important. This was a very poor experience and definitely a first of ANY apartment tour i’ve attended. He was unattentive, hardly acknowledged either of us and was too distracted to even attempt to sell us on the apartment. He showed us no amenities, but at that point in the tour, I could care less about seeing anything else. The apartments were lackluster to say the least but the leasing agent was the icing on the cake. Oh well, their loss. I could pay the rent in my sleep.
On an anonymous account. Every single package was stolen from Cortland oleander west the other day and the apartment didn’t even address it when I complained. ***EDIT: they advertised that there is a community forum but there isn’t? I’ll post the notice they sent out after this situation. There were tons of people standing around and making phone calls because we thought every single package got stolen. How are we supposed to know that packages already marked and documented with pictures as delivered were randomly moved to a leasing office/mailroom in a different building THAT WE CANT GET INTO?? their response still does not address the fact that nothing was communicated to residents. There were 2 Amazon packages delivered by mistake from the driver by the way. Nothing compared to the a
