Cortland Old Fourth Ward

I stayed at this property through a short-term lease with Landing. I arrived sight unseen based on the desire to be in a renovated unit within walking distance of the Beltline, and in reliance on false advertising and misrepresentations from Landing and Cortland as to the state of the property. I don’t have a positive word to say about this property, but its lack of security is my primary grievance. In 3 weeks, I have encountered homeless people inside the property on 5 occasions—sleeping, doing drugs, begging, and harassing tenants in the stairwell and hallways. Because the elevator has been broken for the entirety of my stay, I must use the stairs to get to the 6th floor 3 times a day when walking my dog. The door at the bottom of the stairwell must be slammed to close, and as a result

I had a tour with Kaneal and he was the absolute best, very professional, personable and he was super well informed about everything pertaining to the property. The property itself is going under a large renovation, but it seems that they have really good plans for it. The renovated units are beautiful and look exactly like the pictures. This property is very close to the beltline but very close to Edgewood as well. It’s definitely on my list as I continue my search for a new place.

DO NOT MOVE HERE..RUN I've been living here for 4 years and within that time a lot has changed. The previous management was very laid-back and handled issues quickly. The quality of the apartment was definitely lacking but it was overall an enjoyable experience. Ever since Auburn glenn turned into courtland at old fourth its been AWFUL. There is constant never ending construction, the elevators have been broken for a full year, there are roaches, theres a random fire alarm that goes off like ever two weeks, and the parking deck will boot your guest even if they're checked in. The leasing office is also NEVER open when you need them to be. For the price they're charging for the new units, there are 1 million better places you can live in atlanta. I am loving my new apartment! Courtland old fourth ward has so many exciting renovations in the works. All new courtyards, new swimming pool, new club house, swimming pool. It looks amazing. The manager Candice and lead leasing agent Kaneil has the best customer service. My apartment is newly renovated with all new appliances. I am very impressed with the services.

This apartment is exemplary. They are renovating the entire building (The new units are awesome). The building staff is friendly plus they keep you up to date with any changes in the building, they answer any questions and they check in with you in passing. Candice Johnson is so helpful and has provided such a positive experience. There are multiple courtyards here, so it feels like its own community. My favorite thing is how spacious the building is and the many routes I can take to move around the building. The location is superb also. You get the benefit of the beltline on one side, and on the other - you have the city. I work in the city so it's extremely convenient for my commute and I enjoy the restaurants, and businesses nearby for activities. 10/10
