Cortland at Stonebriar

I am very thankful to be able to call Cortland at Stonebriar home! The staff is very personable and welcoming. Amanda is very helpful and kind in everything she does. The homes here are very beautiful and you can tell that the service team knows what they are doing! Many recommendations have been given to me specifically because of the staff and for anyone who is thinking about living here, do it! The resident events that they put together are awesome too! Thank you all for everything you do!

Have been living here for 10 months, and to start off the apartments are beautiful. The hallways are nice, spacious, and if you live on the ground floor you get 14 ft ceilings, nice spacious living rooms, and our 2a unit has a huge bathroom, which i love. The rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s fine. There’s a laundry room, not unit, and i like that a lot. Peaceful, the park in the middle is nice. Pool areas are nice, never too crowded. My only issue is the “auditing” of the packages. It doesn’t make sense to me why building managers/employees are allowed to pick up our mail, and take it to another location to “audit” it. If residents aren’t picking up their mail, send them reminders and the RTS their packages. It is extremely uncomfortable for me that someone picked up my mail, an

If you have the chance to leave, do it. Fire alarms go off constantly for no reason in the middle of the night, many of the entrance doors don't work with the electronic key (if you even have one, because there aren't enough for all the residents). If you have any problems in your apartment and they send someone to fix them, secure your belongings because they will most likely disappear (it happened to me, and all they told me was that they couldn't do anything because the contractors are trustworthy and wouldn't steal anything). The elevators don't work, there are no security cameras in the parking lots... many problems and few solutions.

We moved in months ago. From the time we have moved in the gate on our side of the building has never worked. We are paying more for this complex to have a gate that works and yet it has not worked at all. Due to this maintenance issue, several of our neighbors have had their vehicles broken into. They are quick to have your car towed if you park in the wrong place, have your guests that visit towed if they do not scan a QR code and register to park but will do nothing to protect your vehicle.

I loved living here! The staff was really nice and always pleasant to interact with. I felt safe while living here. Parking was not a problem. Really the only problem was ppl that didn’t pick up after their dogs. They let the dogs pee in the elevator and the stairwells always smelled like dog pee. When I 1st moved in in 2020 we had cleaning staff that was really nice and always kept the hallways clean and smelling good. I stayed here for 2 years and mgmt. changed 3 times. Not a bad things because everyone was nice. I moved because of my job but I would have signed another lease possibly if I didnt find anything more reasonably priced. It’s a bit pricey but so is everything these days! Great location!
