Cortina Apartments

We have lived in this apartment for 15 months. Overall, the main advantage is that the location is extremely convenient. However, the security situation really needs to be mentioned. This apartment complex is mostly open-access, and we have seen homeless individuals climbing over the back exterior walls and wandering around multiple times. At night, you can even see young people jumping over the fence to enter the swimming pool, even though they are clearly not residents. While living here, our bicycle was locked in the stairwell, but the lock was cut and the bike was stolen. Our car was also broken into and searched by strangers. One of our neighbors even had all four wheels stolen from their car. Late at night, you will often see cars that do not belong to residents slowly driving into

I moved in here earlier this month, it had a few issues, but were resolved w/in the first six days. The office staff is amazing, the neighbors that I’ve met as so kind, and it’s pretty quiet. Some nights there’s street noise, but it is off Bell rd and is to be expected. I can’t speak on pool noise level as I’ve not experienced this yet. The rent price and w/ a month free and can prorate the entire lease makes it super affordable. I’ve not received my conservice bill yet and APS is the electric it’s not too bad so far. My particular experience was not very good in the end. I lived here for a year. It was great how a shopping center was right next door, but not so great how the apartment buildings were uniquely situated to share water access with the commercial buildings which caused unwanted disruptions when they did maintenance without warning. The property management was not at what I would call a professional level. There were several instances of them not being careful to provide accurate info, dangerously teetering into the edges of dishonesty, so much so that they gave the impression they really did not care if what they said was true. I started looking for apartments in Phoenix about 3 months ago, and we stumbled across this one driving by. Toia and her team were not only friendly but knowledgeable, too. The apartments are absolutely beautiful on the inside, and I love all the small details most folks don't notice about this place. Nature (birds) are definitely in abundance, but it adds to the resort style property. I would recommend this place.

Lived here for 2 years and it was the best experience! Prompt responses to maintenance repairs and pretty communicative from beginning to end. Spacious living spaces, loved the connected-to-bedroom bathrooms & how the rooms were on opposite sides of each other for more privacy, amazing views, 2 pools & nice neighbors. Highly recommend!
