Coppertree Apartments

I’ve noticed a lot of improvement at this apartment complex over the past few months. The management and maintenance teams seem to be making a real effort to keep things running smoothly. Whenever I’ve submitted a maintenance request, it’s been handled quickly and efficiently, which makes a big difference as a resident. It’s great to see issues getting taken care of without long waits, and the overall responsiveness has definitely improved. The progress recently has been noticeable, and I appreciate the work the team is putting in to make the community better.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! I’ve only lived here 7 months and moving here was the worst decision I’ve made yet. Let’s start with the entire place is infested with roaches. They pretend like they care and send an exterminator out a couple times but thats it. The roaches return after the exterminator stops and you’re back to square one. The elevators have been broken down since I first moved in. There are two and only one works. The entire building is filthy. Residents spill things on the floor and don’t clean it up and the mess sits there until enough people walk through it and it disappears. Now that the season has changed, the leaves from the trees are inside the building hallways and have piled up so much that they are now mush mixed with the snow and tracked in all entryways. I’ve been tenant here for two years, dealing with roaches, mice, and plumbing issues the whole time. I have photos, videos, and emails to prove it. Two weeks ago I even sent an email to property management about a dead mouse in the hallway. Rent has been raised, which is understandable since everyone gets increases, but doing so amid ongoing rodent problems and broken laundry machines—plus the card reader for laundry being down for weeks—is frustrating. I mistakenly misunderstood my renewal and am now stuck for another year. Until then, I’ll be posting pictures of every roach and mouse I see. Honestly, there’s nothing luxurious about this place—only the location the older tenants I try to help when I can and the maintenance staff are worth mentioning; they’re friendly and cool. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend moving to Coppertree Apartments. The parking lot isn’t plowed and your car will slide due to the ice/snow. Hallways are always dirty with pet hair and smells like marijuana . Upon moving here I was told to switch the utilities in my name and get renters insurance. This was all done and was provided the wrong apartment number. Had to switch over the utilities again to the correct apartment number and was charged renters insurance fee. The fee was never given back and the people in the office were acting clueless. Since I moved in the apartment the rent has been a DIFFERENT AMOUNT and has not been the amount that I agreed upon. The shower in the bathroom always has been Lukewarm and never fully hot. The maintenance people take forever to fix anything

So about a week ago I came to this property to see if this would a be good fit for me. I had just gotten of work off a 16 hour shift, one the employees or a staff member.. come up and thought I was homless and threaten to call the police on me.. just cause I wanted tk go see and if I can make a schedule appointment to view the apartment and thr staff member stated well sorry we only rent tk People with job and that actually have money and seeing that you have a hearing aid and you look disabled.. you look like you cant work.. I was really hurt by thier comment and hurt by the way I was treated.. so I will not be looking at this property to move into for next year. They need a new staff and learn how to treat people no matter age, race, disability ot gender. Ot status.. coppertree apartment
