My daughter lived here for less than a year. In our first day to move in, we opened the door and the smell of smoke would knock you down. We complained and they said they had painted and it should help. Well, once the paint smell went away they were just stuck with the smoke smell until we could get rid of it on our own. The oven and cabinets were disgusting. I got down on my hands and knees to scrub the cabinets, especially the bottom cabinets. It look like food or vomit had hit the floor and splattered everywhere. We went ahead and cleaned the inside of the oven because it looked like it had never been cleaned. Once we got them in and got everything clean it was fine. I have lived at Copper Creek for years and I’m writing this review on the day of my move out inspection. Management ruined my years of a mostly positive experience here in 15 minutes. After removing all of my things I spent 5+ hours cleaning to avoid having to pay a cleaning fee. The list of cleaning demands they give is absurd but I adhered to them out of respect for the premises and to avoid the fee. The inspection seemed to go fine until the end when I was hit with a $100 charge. They said that the inside of the oven was “not up to par.” I explained that I scrubbed the inside of the oven and there were certain stains that just wouldn’t come off. Was told to apply 8 months out from the date I was planning to move, then was told that is too far out to apply after paying the application fee and was told to reapply a couple months later and I would not receive a refund even though it was a mess up on their end.

This company is severely poorly managed. They do not value cognizant tenants who take care of their apartment for years. This company insisted on charging $100 for a cleaning fee despite hours of cleaning being done for the inspection. They chose to charge a full cleaning fee for a small amount of crumbs in the oven despite scrubbing the oven. This was the only complaint that they had but insisted on losing the deposit. Additionally, they hung up on our phone call when we tried to get additional information. Highly disappointed in this company and will warn people before anyone opts into their contract. If you’re already in a contract, don’t waste your time cleaning; leave it in a mess because they are going to charge you regardless. Extremely disappointed.

Upon moving into Copper Creek Townhouse In April of last year, I was set to have a positive experience with my first apartment. I'd heard nothing but good things about the place. I was even told it was a quiet neighborhood with many older individuals and no party-throwers/college kids/etc. Apparently I did not speak with the appropriate people about this choice--they were wrong. Both of my neighbors were in college and very, very noisy.
