Copper Beech Statesboro

EDIT: It has been 2 weeks since my unit flooded and I currently am displaced from the entire space because the saturated carpet has been giving off an atrocious odor that has permeated the entire unit. At this point I am concerned about the health and habitability of the unit due to prolonged exposure to water-damaged carpet and the resulting odor. I have contacted the office via email several times asking for updates and accommodations but have received no real response. Additionally, when you call the office number you will never speak to a human directly as it is automatically answered by AI and will be on a continuous loop of telling you the leasing office is unavailable. NEW UPDATE REVIEW AT BOTTOM OLD REVIEW: My daughter moved in a month ago at Copper Beach. Sadly, the day of move in the carpet was soaking wet. We had to put most of her furniture on cardboard boxes. A company was called in to come and suck the water out of the carpet. However, the carpet after a month is still very wet and there is mold all around the air condition door. I could only imagine the mold underneath the carpet. When parents send their kids to college, they hope that they will be taken care of and their own living space that they pay monthly for will be livable. When the tenants before her moved out, none of the walls were fixed. There were holes everywhere. There were items, broken and torn throughout the living space that were also not fixed. I recently adopted two dogs to help me manage PTSD from a previous military deployment. They have been a huge support for my mental health. Due to military training obligations, I was a few days late reporting them to the leasing office. Instead of working with me to resolve the situation, Copper Beech charged me $500 for Animal Damage ( they're two cocker spaniels all they do is sleep and cuddle) then proceeded to threatened to terminate my lease and call the pound on my dogs if I did not remove them within 24 hours. It was extremely disappointing to be treated this way, especially considering the circumstances and the fact that these animals are helping me cope with PTSD from my service. I expected a little more understanding, support and professionalism from management.

It's a bit crazy how many bad reviews copper beech has. My friend moved in for this school year and although there was some water trouble in the ceiling, it's mostly a good living space. The rent is a bit higher but you also get a lot more breathing room and it's 3 floors.

I am not one to review but these guys have serious issues. There is this thing they like to do at the front office where they act oblivious to the issues you are having, like what you are saying is foreign language to them. I beg you with the name of God not to live here, you will definitely find better options than "Copper Beech". I am literally begging you not to live here, these guys will make your stay hell.
