I bought a trailer from the son of a Cook Companies manager — a trailer he got for free and falsely claimed was updated. In truth, it was full of serious issues: a gas-leaking furnace, broken water heater, rusted gas lines, weak water pressure, and pipes that burst in winter. The water was black for years until residents complained enough to force them to drill a new well. No insulation was installed behind the drywall like I was told. Michelle and Wes are the best Lot managers in the universe as they are extremely nice and helpful. I live in the Alexander park and it's a beautiful place to be. It's small but perfect for me and my partner, the lake is gorgeous and we're right at the sweet spot between Hartville and Akron. Generous lot rent and trailer payment plans. Plus there very sympathetic to whatever situation you end up in financially. I used to live in one of their parks for 7yrs. No problems at all. Just inquired about a trailer for a friend and they said they are remodeling the old trailers and will be selling them for around 25-30grand and will finance with half down 😳. The greed of the housing shortage has definitely taken over!! No way in hell are any of those 40+ yr old trailers ever going to be worth that no matter how much paint you use to pretty them up. Response to your reply: I hired lawyers against your location (because you had similar responses to me when we wanted it fixed without the law involved), and I won. The fuse box was nicknamed a firebox, your company was required to update it which required an outside excavation as well. I have videos to this day saved of cats crawling into the HVAC vents from outside. My heat ran 24/7 because it was blowing outside instead of inside. Thanks for replacing all of that unsafe equipment before I dipped out. We've helped keep MANY people out of your properties. They know exactly how to get around laws and regulations especially in townships. Definitely don't buy from them. Building was easy to find. They manage the place I live and many other properties. The people are helpful and the wait was very short. There are other businesses in the building too, but Cook Co was easy to locate once inside. Parking is in the rear though there are entrances front and rear.
