Connecticut Gardens Apartments

Len and his team are awesome. The building is very well-maintained and clean, the maintenance staff is timely (all of my requests have been taken care of same-day), and the surrounding neighborhood is a DC gem. The neighborhood straddles the commercial - with Adams Morgan located a few blocks away - with the residential. The building itself is located in a leafy enclave with very little noise, except for the occasional ambulance heard going down Connecticut Avenue or Columbia Road a few blocks away. This is pretty standard in any quiet residential area in DC. I highly recommend this apartment building to anyone who is interested!!!

The management is so accommodating, and the maintenance team is timely in their responses (and always nice to my cats). Overall, the team makes the building feel like home - as do the friendly residents. The package room is very secure, I have never had any issues with packages being stolen as I have at other buildings. Also, I have not had any pest issues. They are very consistent with preventative treatments, rather than waiting to treat till residents report a problem. This gives me great ease of mind.

Connecticut Gardens is an incredibly well managed apartment building, and I am so happy my partner and I chose to live here! Our two bedroom apartment is huge (over a thousand square feet). Other 2 bedroom units we had toured previously were only 700-800 square feet for a similar price. All utilities besides internet are included in the rent, which saves us a ton of money and the stress of dealing with utility companies. The property management is truly exceptional. Lennard, the property manager, is extremely responsive and helpful, and has helped us with a variety of issues since moving in. Maintenance is fast and efficient. The roof desk is beautifully maintained, and a perfect place to relax or grill! We love living in this building!

Very happy with my decision to move to this apartment complex. Along with the desirable location, the building is well-maintained and meets all of our needs, including an onsite gym, laundry room, and designated package room. The rooftop is a great feature as well! I’ve been particularly impressed with the responsiveness and turnaround with maintenance requests. Would definitely recommend for those looking to move to the area.

Updated in 2023 (almost 3yrs of living in CG) - Still so thankful for lucking into this most amazing apartment community. The management is one of the best, very proactive in resolving any minor repairs which are far and few. The building is always clean. The rooftop has one of the best views, and our apartment itself continues to wow everyone who visits us. A wonderful sized one bedroom, all the amenities we need, and most of all phenomenal location. Review in Dec 2020 I moved in a few months ago, amidst the pandemic after having found Connecticut Gardens through an online search - it instantly fit all my criteria.
