Confluence on 3rd Apartments

Update: After I posted my review yesterday, the pool was cleaned and is now sparkling and pretty. See, I told you they’re responsive! If I could leave 3.5 stars that’s my real rating. I’ve lived here for about 9 months. I’ve also lived in a ton of different apartments, so at this point I may come across as nit-picky. My two cents: Pros: 1. location - very walkable to lots of great spots as well as the grocery store. This is definitely a prime location, and the reason we moved here. 2. Leasing manager and maintenance are very responsive if you contact them. 3. The bedrooms in our unit are pretty spacious and the closet space is nice. Also, in unit laundry is great. The balcony is a nice size as well. Cons: 1. The amenities are nice on paper, but in practice they are not well-maintained.

I can't speak highly enough of this place. The grounds are kept in great condition and the building is wonderful, but more importantly Confluence has a wonderful team running it. Maddie and everyone in maintenance go above and beyond if there's an issue. For example, and this is not an exaggeration, when my fridge stopped working on Thanksgiving, she was able to replace it with a completely new fridge within a couple hours. When a pipe burst in the lobby, there was consistent communication with residents so we knew what was going on and that things were being repaired. Management, too, handles things so smoothly that it's night and day compared to most other places I've lived. When there was a change in insurance policy, they listened to mine and other residents' issues with the switch

By far, this is the most contemporary and stunning apartment complex.For a young professional. The staff here is not only friendly, their skill set is unmatched at other Des.Moines market communities.

Confluence on 3rd Apartments is like living at a resort. The amenities are unmatched in Des Moines with a yoga studio, giant pool, rooftop deck and community garden, amazing courtyard, theater, and so much more!

Cara and Kelley were great to work with! They gave us a great tour of the facility, answered all of our questions and provided great material for us to refer to when making a decision on the Confluence apartments. They were also very helpful with the small issues/details at the apartment after we moved in. Apartment was well kept and clean, and the amenities were excellent!
