As soon as our house was under contract, the folks at Community Title Network went to work and led us smoothly through the closing process. Kevin and his colleagues communicated with us very well and responded quickly to any questions. They were patient and reassuring from their very first contact until everything was final and the funds were in our bank. We were very well taken care of. Community Title Network failed me as a homebuyer. While completing closing paperwork at their office, they clearly understood my status as a first-time homebuyer but ultimately did not help me properly fill out the required forms, submitting incomplete ones to the DC Recorder of Deeds. After an audit uncovered this three years later, I reached out to get their assistance in resolving the matter and was assured they had submitted the correct paperwork. After they realized that they did not do so, they resorted to blaming a change in the systems DC uses, and then to blaming me for not making sure I had filled out the paperwork correctly.
