If you have COPD and asthma, my experience is that you will probably die because management will put in the lease that is smoke-free but they do not have any way to enforce the smoke-free policy when smokers smoke at night and on weekends. I have a document from CMC where the company believes legally they are not responsible for those violating the least after hours. So if you want to live in peace and smoke free, my suggestion based on my experience is that you do not move to any complex managed by CMC. I am experiencing secondhand cigarette smoke in my unit almost every night. And I am suffering. And the CEO of CMC claims that they have tested the perimeters of the building which does not make sense to me. They have refused to come into my apartment and test in certain areas of my apartm

When I first moved here, it was a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The property manager at the time was pleasant, professional, and quick to assist residents. The apartments themselves are really nice and clean and deserves a 5 star but the leasing office and management company deserves negative stars. Just last year we had a new "property manager assistant" who is ratchet at best. She is only there 3 days a week and barely answers the phone or return messages. She's very negative, uninviting, unpleasant, and unprofessional. Don't bothering calling the office to ask a question because she does not know or doesn't want to tell you. Incompetent. Unresponsive. They don't care about you or your community. What a joke of a business. If your HOA chooses them to manage your community, watch out.
