We had an inspection this morning for our new condo with Scott. We received so much more than a standard inspection. Scott was very professional and made sure we understood the repairs he pointed out. Every time he had a concern, he called us over to take a look at what he was seeing and explained to us in detail what was the issue and what repair would be needed to correct it. He was also great to talk to and we felt very comfortable around him. We are first time buyers so we were very nervous about going through this process. He made sure we felt comfortable and understood what was happening throughout the process. He also said that if he had any questions, we can always reach out to him and that his job doesn't just stop at the inspection which was so nice the hear that kind of reassur

Scott Missed a 12-Inch Crack – Now We’re Paying the Price We had a deeply disappointing experience with Community Home Inspections, Inc. and their inspector, Scott. From the start, his professionalism was questionable. He arrived early and spent an extended amount of time chatting with the seller before the inspection. This felt inappropriate, as an inspector should remain unbiased. Instead, Scott relayed several details about the sellers that left us doubting whether he approached the inspection with a truly objective perspective. During the inspection, Scott gave the house a glowing review. Unfortunately, after moving in, we found several glaring issues he completely missed—issues that any trained inspector should have noted. Scott was very thorough and made sure to walk us through the entire home inspection process. I appreciated that he took the time to explain everything he found that needed to be fixed. Scott made my husband and I feel very comfortable getting to know our new potential home!! I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family.

Scott was able to quickly schedule us in for a home inspection the next morning. He arrived before us to inspect what he could outside before we had access to the inside. Scott allowed us to follow him and ask as many questions as we needed; since my husband and I are first time homebuyers this was incredibly invaluable. He would use his years of home renovation knowledge to offer some solutions to "problems" he noticed, and gave us his honest opinion about the house to follow. Scott uses a digital program on a tablet to complete the Home Inspection Report. This allows him to take pictures of every item he is reporting on with ease, and gives you the entire report the moment you step out of the house!
