Unprofessional and Unreliable – Stay Away! Our experience with CommLoan was an absolute nightmare. We first worked with Benjamin, the Senior Mortgage Advisor, who seemed friendly and reassuring, saying all the right things to get us to sign a contract. He promised a smooth transaction, but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. After that, we were handed off to Vanessa, the Commercial Loan Originator, who was completely incompetent. She repeatedly asked for the same documents we had already sent and only followed up when we reached out first. The entire process was a mess, and in the end, CommLoan completely dropped the ball on our 12-unit purchase, abandoning us right before closing.
