I wrote the review below 8 years ago and as of 2025 I'm still a resident at Colony West. A few things have changed over the years some at the time because of Covid but nothing to make me want to move. As far as I'm concerned nothing on this side of heaven is perfect. 8 years ago I have been a resident at Colony since 1991. I think it's the best place in Moon Township to live. I've been here so long I'm not sure I can go anywhere else. The location is perfect, at least for me. Michele manages the rental office. She's always friendly and responsive no matter how busy she is. The guys in maintenance are the best. They always acknowledge your request. They'll even stop by to check out what you need before they actually fix the problem to make sure, they don't have to order something. The com

When a lease ends, tenants should approach move-out charges with careful review and documentation. Any deductions or fees should be clearly justified and supported by evidence. If charges appear unclear or excessive, tenants may request itemized invoices, written explanations, and dated photographs identifying the specific basis for each cost. For additional context, tenants sometimes consult publicly available housing policy references, such as HUD’s Special Claims Processing Guide (HSG-06-01). While such documents do not govern private rental agreements, they describe commonly recognized principles — including depreciation and the distinction between ordinary wear and tenant-caused damage — that may help tenants evaluate the reasonableness of certain claims. If informal discussions do

Allegedly, they have apartments for rent, but it is next to impossible to get ahold of anyone running this place. I tried four different methods of contact before getting any sort of response from anyone. Then I was told that Michele, who is apparently the only person who can schedule tours or answer even the most basic questions, would be on vacation for the next week. I was given her email address, though, so I emailed her politely asking about tours and move in dates and their pet policy. A week later, I got a rude email completely ignoring almost all of my questions. Honestly, I do not understand how people like this keep their jobs, and I also don't understand how this place has any tenants at all.

In March, 2015, when we arrived to the USA, we rented one of the apartments, building 300. The Manager, Michele Bodnar was very professional, polite and friendly person. However we loved this place so much, and didn’t want to leave it, after my third child was born we had to move to more larger place. But I remember that Michele all the time took care of all tenants, kept us updated, and directly resolved all issues on time. We had our best memories here!!! Thanks for amazing 10 years! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I lived at Colony West from 2017-2019, and I loved it! It truly felt like home to me. The only reason why I left is because I had to move out of town. To start, the Moon Township area itself is nice. Colony West is within walking distance of shopping and dining, however it is still quiet as it is nestled back against a wooded area. I felt very safe running and walking around the nearby neighborhoods. The apartments themselves are a bit dated, however they are very well-maintained and for the price of rent, well worth it. My one bedroom unit was very spacious and highlights included a good-sized balcony and renovated bathroom. Each apartment had a storage unit in the basement which was nice to have. I don’t recall paying any amenity fees (there may be one now) but I used the pool and fitnes
