Colony Lakes Apartments in Homestead

I recently had an experience with the leasing office at Colony Lakes that I found frustrating and unprofessional. I initially reached out via email to two different addresses regarding an application and was instructed to send over my pay stubs for eligibility verification. I sent them as requested, but was later told they could not accept them via email. I then faxed my documents twice, but did not receive any follow-up. When I called to check on the status, I was told the documents were not received and that a response had been emailed to me, which I did not receive. I explained that I was out of state and simply wanted to confirm whether I would qualify before making any further arrangements. I've been living at Colony Lakes for about 10 years, and I have to say the entire team here is outstanding. The office staff—Yary, Paola, and Cheily—are incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond. The maintenance team is super responsive, taking care of any issues without delay. Thanks to the staff's hard work, Colony Lakes feels safe, and the grounds are consistently well-maintained. I simply love living here :)

I do not live there, nor have I ever lived here, yet my credit report shows that I have joint responsibility for a lease on one of these apartments. Do you guys verify information and identity before adding names to someone's lease? I have opened up a dispute with all three Credit bureaus. Next will be BBB until my name is no longer associated with a place I have never lived at.

These apartments are the best apartments to live in in the city of homestead. The application process was very easy. I spent 2 weeks in a hotel homeless with my daughter. I found these apartments and moved in 5 days after the application. Miriam was so nice she went beyond her work duties and checked in on me many times to make sure I had the lights connected and she even help me with the homestead light and water application. She deserves a raise and pay . Maintenance is so responsive if you have any problem they come asap , they also do a very good job spraying the place from bugs if I even find the smallest one its already dead . I love it here and I highly recommend these apartments.
