I am writing this review because I have sent an email previously and have also tried calling and visiting the office multiple times without receiving any response. Each time I've gone in person, the office appears to be closed, even though the hours listed both on the door and online state that the office is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. I dropped off a check for my security deposit and handed the check directly to an employee who was on her way out, and we were told that the payment would be posted to my account. It has now been several days, and we have not received any confirmation or communication, which is very concerning. Colonial Gardens Apartments has been our home for a few years now. It is a very small apartment complex compared to others around it. We have apartment units from A to N, in which each unit consists of 4 homes. Most of the units are remodeled, and we were lucky to get one of it. Most of the units in this apartment complex are 2 bed-1 bath. Every unit has 2 parking spaces, but there are no specific parking spaces for guests😒😔. We can easily get access to both I-880 and I-680 highways in few minutes. Most of the grocery stores, malls and entertainment centers are few miles away from this apartment place. AC transit bus stop is just in front of the apartment. If you are looking for an extremely quite and reserved place, then this place is for you.

Horrible management, I settled everything and left a year and half ago. With the manager at the time saying I dont owe anything and everything is good. Now I get a call from a debt collector asking for a $1000 dollars for cleaning fee. This is a scam, not one email or communication about this for an entire year and half, and waiting a year and half to do it, says it all. Before you leave, make sure to get a final walk through paper and keep it for years, because they can pull this kind of scam on you.

I signed the lease on 12/20/2024 for a unit due for move in a few months, the management did not sign the lease and came back on 12/31/2024 that the rent be increased due to some reasons, and gave few hours to decide on whether i want to accept the new rent, I decided to cancel for the refund of my deposit, it is been a month now, still waiting on my deposit refund. Management does not respond to emails.

I’d like to leave a negative review. I scheduled a visit to the apartment for 12 pm and set up another appointment for 1 pm, so I had two appointments lined up. I arrived at the location but found the office closed, and I’ve been waiting for over two hours. I tried to contact them via phone, but their communication was extremely unprofessional. During my third call, one of their representatives spoke to me in an unprofessional manner and didn’t even offer an apology for the initial delay. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with people.
