DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU VALUE A TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED HOME! For 19 of the last 24 days this February, the temperature inside my apartment has hovered between 78°F and 81°F. Management refuses to turn on the building’s A/C, claiming it is "too cold" outside; despite outdoor temperatures consistently hitting 80+ degrees this month. When I asked if the ac would be functional before the upcoming 90-degree weekend, the office simply told me they "don't know have an answer.” As of right now, it is 81 degrees in my unit while it’s only 80 degrees outside. If the building is already this hot now, it will be unbearable when the 90 degree heat hits this weekend. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. You will not be comfortable living here.
I want to start by saying that RPM Living took over management right at the end of my lease, and they do seem more competent than the three previous management companies I dealt with. That said, my year living here was a nightmare. The property was misrepresented at lease signing, and major problems were never addressed. The AC system shut down almost weekly in the summer because it’s too old to keep all the buildings cool at once. We also had mice and a severe cockroach infestation that previous management ignored despite multiple complaints. The worst issue was when my dishwasher started leaking and then my kitchen sink began leaking anytime it was used also. I put in a maintenance request and heard nothing, so I made a stop at the leasing office to check on it and after a verbal alter
I would love to give this place a good rating. I really would. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this place when we first moved in in 2024. Since the new management company took over this complex, it's been a nightmare. While many things can be overlooked, a lack of maintenance and pest issues cannot. We've put in multiple work orders for pest complaints and rarely have heard anything (and we can't be the only one's). Then there is the laundry facilities. When we first moved in, if anything was broken, we were notified by text/email and things were repaired in a timely manner. Now, nothing. One of the laundry facilities has one working washer out of eight and it has been that way since October (as I right this in the last week of 2025). It's just absolutely ridiculous.
The unit was not move in ready. The carpet was filthy. You’re welcome!! I had it professionally cleaned!! During a service call their maintenance employee went through my belongings underneath my kitchen sink and opened items as well. They never followed up with me regarding the incident. There were tenants on this property that were screaming, yelling, and fighting which I witnessed and complained about. There were helicopters and officers on the property several nights in a row responding to a disturbance with a different tenant. This is not a quiet property. Upon move out I left the entire apartment clean and they tried to charge me a cleaning fee for dust on the blinds due to their negligence. And milked my deposit because they are two months behind with their utility payments. How I
The AC repair guys did a great job replacing the AC motor. But, left a few issues behind that weren't communicated to me as to why i.e., huge hole exposed at ceiling with the vent covers, dirty rag and air filter on the floor. Also, the fan and air conditioner were running high for hours until I arrived home. Which will show up on my electric bill.
