College Woods Apartments

It was very small and tight for the amount of furniture I have. I didn't like the idea of the bathroom in the bedroom. When guest come over they'll need to go through my bedroom and also to pay that amount of money to have to leave the building and go around the building or to another location of the building to get to the laundry room that to me is ridiculous the setup is not ideal for someone that is in their 60's to complete the task of laundry. The balcony setup resolves one issue but the laundry room stops me from getting this apartment just thinking of all the weather conditions dragging a cart through snow or ice or rain that's not ideal for me.

Love the quietness and being surrounded by nature. Great 1 bedroom community of young professionals and older people. The property manager and maintenance guy are very helpful and on top of things. The only thing is there’s no central AC, the AC unit is in the living room and AC window units aren’t allowed, which requires a portable AC unit which range between $200-400+. With such humid summers I wonder if they plan on adding a second window unit to the bedroom.

I have been a resident of College Woods for five years, and until January of this year, I had no major issues. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place to stay but over the last year the behavior of recent tenants in the parts of the complex further away from the office has been deplorable. My overall positive outlook on the property changed after I had a verbal disagreement with a neighbor over their repeated refusal to clean up after their dog. Only after I submitted a formal complaint did management issue them a notice. A few days afterward—and less than 24 hours after parking my car on the property—my car windows were shot out with a BB gun. Though the incident was not caught on camera, the timing clearly points to retaliation. Disturbingly, I continue to find BB pellets from the inciden

I've lived here a little over 2 years and I truly love living here. It's quiet and in a good location to hop on the highway. The property manager is super caring and knowledgable. The maintenance man is efficient and thorough.

Not really happy with the handling of the snow piles. I’m ok with shoveling out my own spot but there should be a better job done with the rest of the lot. There’s one lane in and out of this place now. I don’t think it’s fair to be as critical as you are with dents in cars and shovels on balconies and not handle this mess of a lot properly
