There are 3 CB real estate offices in Charlevoix. I just went through a horrible experience with one of the 3 (they don’t give agent’s names for good reason). The buyers agent bullied me into paying a large sum of money not based on any tangible losses. She was at my home, in my driveway and would talk to me even with my agent present. I got 2 extra days for $1250/day. That is a punitive action fine for my late departure. The new owners (very nice people) were not part of this miscarriage of real estate ability to resolve problems without hostility. I tried to get my agent to call in some “big guns” from his ofc to help negotiate. He declined. The house sat vacant for almost 2 weeks. There was no apparent hurry to get the new buyers in the house. This was a 100% adversarial transac
