Coldwell Banker Realty - Winchester

I rented condo unit through broker from. Coldwell Banker Realty. Broker ensured me that landlord will take care of all maintenance repairs before movein and scammed me to sign lease before previous tenant vacant apartment. I have been following up with owner since past 8+ month to do repairs. I have even involved broker as landlord was not very cooperating, but nothing changed. I strongly recommend to avoid working with this company as it seems broker was just interested to get their brokerage money and scamming people with incorrect details!! Never going to work with agent from this company !!

We recently sold our house and were looking for a home to rent for our family. My agent brought me to a property that was being shown by an Agent of Coldwell Banker from the Winchester office. Right from the beginning, I was told that the fee was ½ a month’s rent which worked out to be $1,250 for me, where the other half payable by the landlord. When it came down to signing the lease (actually before that as we were “negotiating”), the CB agent increased our fee and said she didn’t remember saying that it was only a half a month’s rent for us. After begrudgingly signing the lease and since we were running out of time, once we had settled in, I later contacted the office manager to complain about this. I hope this is isolated, but the agent whose help I needed went berserk and screamed at me, his former buyer, like a toddler in a tantrum because of his issues with the seller. This was the most unprofessional interaction I’ve ever had with a professional. His branch manager has failed to return repeated calls to resolve the situation.
