Harper as a company couldn’t be any worse. Negligent on all ends and are quick to try and screw over whomever they can to make money. If you can avoid Harper property management at all costs. We had the absolute terror of having Manira Salina’s as a property manager, I don’t think I’ve ever come across a person so eager to do nothing at collect a paycheck. And I mean absolutely nothing. How this company thinks it’s okay to have a house without working ac in Texas, in the middle of summer. Is beyond me. I could go on for days attacking her character, or really lack there of but it’s not worth the energy. Avoid Harper property management at all costs and make sure you triple check your move out report (itemized costs) because not only will they massively inflate the most hilarious of things(

I worked with Harper Property Management with a home I was going from renting to buying from the owners. The owners changed agents once the lease was coming to an end from another company over to a Coldwell Banker realtor. Our purchase agreement ended up falling through as the new agent took off all items I requested for the sale (3 minimal items) and said that the owners did not want to pay me a commission since I was my own acting realtor for this sale. Home sold for less than what I was originally contracted to purchase the home for and owners still had to pay both agent commissions. That was the sales portion. Regarding the rental: I paid a $1700 security deposit at the beginning of my lease, and was only given back a little over $900. They charged me for carpet cleaning ($225) which n

My family has a listing with them for rent, and it has been on the market for over 160 days. The house is situated in a prime location, has excellent schools, and is also a Hoa. However, I am somewhat perplexed and would certainly not recommend them. I strongly advise you to steer clear of them. They could potentially waste your time and financial resources.

Property management has a lack of transparency and accountability (refusal of joint move-in or move-out walk throughs, attempts to hold tenants accountable for pre-existing damage), lack of timely and professional communication, managers never physically visit their properties, and tenants are expected to ensure workmen follow through with reported maintenance issues. I don't recommend renting from them nor hiring them as property managers.
