Clagett Management

I would give Clagett Management zero stars if I could. This HOA is the absolute worst. Renee Sanders and the board have blatantly denied necessary medical accommodations, despite clear evidence from a physician, which directly violates the ADA and HUD regulations. Renee, who oversees the Locust Hill Subdivision, seems to be on a constant power trip, often harassing residents. Communication is nearly impossible; you can never get in touch with her, and there's never a manager on duty at the office to address concerns. The ineptitude of this company and its employees is appalling. They fail to respect residents' rights, prevent us from enjoying our homes, and enforce their bylaws with a bureaucratic strictness that disregards State and Federal laws. There's a reason this company has a 1 star rating: you're not allowed to rate with zero stars. That's literally the only reason they even get one. Just a complete waste of our HOA's money. They do nothing, enforce nothing, waste time and resources regularly, have different standards for different households in the same neighborhoods. I'm guessing they're the cheapest option and that's how so many neighborhoods get stuck with them. But this is one of those cases where you don't even get what you pay for. Just plain terrible.

Very disappointing company to deal with. I had a billing issue for a small amount that I felt was unfair. Despite multiple attempts to resolve it, no one was able to clearly explain or fix the issue. I was repeatedly passed from one person to another without any resolution. The amount is minor, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing. Sharing this so others are aware.

Erika makes it so painful to live in residence they manage. She doesn’t understand when something is very temporary, even 2 days. She has some weird authority issue and is on a hardcore power trip. If you are going to be buying in residence they manage, be aware, she will literally harass you with every chance they get. Management, please see your review patterns and respond accordingly.

This company isn't interested in the well-being of the communities they're supposed to be managing. They only police the residents to such a level of harassment it will effect your day to day. One star is far too good for them. They should not be allowed to operate anywhere. This kind of behavior feels like it has to be illegal.
