Citywalk Apartments

I've lived in Newark, NJ the majority of my life where major crime and murders are committed each day, which was the main reason I left and moved to Florida 2 years ago. I just signed my lease to City walk Apartments in February and I truly have no regrets. In fact, compared to where I'm from, this complex is a walk in the park. The leasing office has always been great to me since day 1. Tina Marie is amazing at her job and any time I've called for minor maintenance issues, she always made sure I was taken care of in a timely manner. Besides the leasing office being there when I need them, the best part are the newly renovated apartments which are beautiful. Last year I was living in a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath small house paying 1000, paying for water, and I did not have central air conditioning

Anyone that rates this above 1 Star is paid. I travel a lot for work and lived all over, worst place I’ve ever stayed. 1. Extremely unsafe. You see cops in the apartment complex at least once ever other week. In September their was a shooting, the tenants that have lived here for a while told me it’s normal. It’s right next to a Juvenile detainment Can’t control the tenants To feel safe around here you better own a gun 2. Dirty This place is discuss trash everywhere all the time 20/30 cats run around the complex at any given time. One morning I found cats fighting on top of my car and their were scratches all over my car. Office has done nothing about it. I was in a pinch and needed somewhere to stay. Worst place I’ve ever lived, I can’t wait till my lease is up to get out of this horribl

I've been here at City Walk for a few years now,seen owners come and go,promising to do this and that,never happened; a little patch work here and there.I must admit that when the new owners came and talk of rent increase was mentioned it sent a lot of people into a frenzy,but to m injy surprise this New owner came in and did things that had been promised but never done,for example: The pool,the laundromat better than ever, the renovation on the units,remarkable improvement, the gate,etc. For a complex that's been here all these years and not fallen,this owner came with a plan and he's definitely showing results. Rome wasn't built in a day and I think if he decides to keep the place he will do remarkable things. For the ladies in the office, Thanks for your prompt outstanding service Mrs.

I am Tabitha Rhodes, and I'm currently living at City Walk apartments in unit 1915 G. I am in my second year and I absolutely love my apartment. Tina Marie makes it all possible with her friendly smile and welcoming words every time I call or come to the office. When ever I have a problem it gets tooken care of right away. I am so thankful to be apart of the community.

The new owners are not good people. Due to a personal injury we got behind on rent. I went back to work and made a deal to get rent paid up. After getting all back rent and fees and there were a lot. They accept our check then 3 days later return our check and filled with the cort to have us evicted for refusing to pay. Their lawyer promptly settled with us outside court. One month later they give us a notice to vacate so they can remodel the apartment. And the overall look of the place looks more like a concentration camp, then a gated community.
