Deserves a Zero rating. This HOA is the worst! They charge you excessive yearly dues , but do nothing to earn it. I always thought an HOA was a good thing in protecting myself and my home from unfair neighbors that take no responsibility or even break the covenants. My experience has been that the HOA at Northwest Park Subdivision not only just take your dues; keep raising them! , and do nothing to represent the association. In fact, when there are concerns with neighbor dogs roaming the streets, uncut yards, massive commercial trucks parked on streets obscuring visibility on streets, and neighbor safety all they say is to call SAPD . They leave potholes in our neighborhood for months. When you call them it says they're busy and to either wait or leave a voicemail. I didn't select the option to leave a vm. A few minutes of holding it transfers me to the vm and says to record my message just for it to beep within 2 seconds and says your message was recorded and it hung up on me.

They charge absurdly high HOA fees and provide little to nothing in return for the payment. For example, I've asked them why there are only 2 overpriced ISPs in our community and if they intentionally avoided signing an access agreement for any other service such as Google Fiber or ATT fiber and they've just ignored my inquiry for 2 weeks now. There are numerous other issues but I'm not going to spend the next 30 minutes writing about the past year.

I cannot leave a horrid enough review for these psychopaths. They attempted to bill us for a damaged neighborhood gate, despite having no evidence. They trespassed onto our property and got the plates off our cars, and emailed us saying a car with our plates had damaged the gate. We asked for the camera footage, and they sent a video of a completely different car with different plates. They alleged our car was registered to our house, it’s not, that is illegal. They are liars, they are scam artists, and we had to hire a defense attorney to deal with the whole thing.
