Cheyenne Crossing Apartments

Unsure why there are so many negative reviews of this place. I’ve been here for around 7 months and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Apartment was clean upon move in, and any issues I encountered were fixed in a very timely manner. All of my appliances work great & rent is not expensive! The staff is kind and will work with you to fix any issues you may have. The location of the apartments is great too- with an amazing view living right at the base of the mountains & in close proximity to shops, stores, etc. Noise can sometimes be loud but I feel that’s what’s to be expected when you live in an apartment… overall very pleased with Cheyenne Crossing!

I recently went on a tour of the apartments, and Autumn was my Tour Guide she didn’t seem very welcoming, and seemed like she was not interested in giving the guide. Autumn expressed that won’t know of availability’s until 6 days prior to moving in, but on the website it shows that Cheyenne has available apartments now. The show room that Autumn showed me was very nice, but that is also expected due to it being a showroom. The Apartments seem nice, but the tour guide made my experience very negative and her attitude was very distasteful.

Just arrived to these apartments and experience has been great so far. Autumn was very helpful during the leasing process. Also received a big package and Dallas from maintenance was great to help bring it all the way up to my apartment.

I had a really bad experience renting out my first apartment in Colorado Springs. First I moved the and the floor was peeling off everywhere and they said they gonna fix it never did. Second they tell you that you’re going to pay certain amount you end up paying at lot more, on top of that 40 days the lease it’s up the told me the going to increase the rent even more $1700 one bed one bath. Crazy, now I live in a better place I have 2 rooms and I’m paying almost half of it. Send an email with my 60 days notice and then they’re saying that I didn’t sent a form not until then 16th and I should have send it on the first and because of it I have to pay the whole month and some other fees . Do your research before renting out in that place. Really bad experience ☹️

Apartment sized was not terrible for base rent (1024). However when you begin factoring in outdated, appliances and insulation, the costs add up. The heating is room based and electrical, which can easily jack up utility. AC was next to useless. Especially since it was located in the living room and the master was on the far other side. We pay less month to month at a higher base rent at newer a apartment (1129). Hidden fees such as "miscellaneous cleaning" regardless of your own quality of cleaning upon moving out make it impossible to keep your deposit. A large population of lower enlisted soldiers live here, they can be loud on weekends and holidays/training holidays if you care about that type of stuff.
